CORE VALUES
Honesty, Integrity & Trust
We believe honesty, integrity and trust guide all our decisions and actions. Honesty guides the words we use and how we use them. Integrity is embodied in our actions with steadfast adherence to a strict moral and ethical code. Trust is the reliance we establish with our people, decisions and commitment to quality. We believe modeling these traits needs to be reflected in how we build relationships, conduct business and make decisions.
Empowerment & Teamwork
By definition, empowerment is about valuing team members and giving them the information and tools, they need to achieve results. Everyone must display high integrity, or it will never work. (We value our team members and give them the information and tools, they need to achieve outstanding results) We encourage teamwork by rewarding our team members for making our organization stronger and enriching the lives of our residents. Our culture, environment and programming encourage and empower our team members to think and act both independently and as empowered members of a winning team.
Stewardship & Service
Through stewardship, we work hard every day to act in accordance with our shared beliefs, vision and mission to serve our residents.
Lifelong learning
We provide our residents, leadership and team members with resources that are essential to fostering lifelong learning. Continued participation in our services allows a resident to make quality, meaningful & independent lifestyle choices.
Kindness & Respect
Our organization is built on a culture of kindness and respect. We endeavor to work with a thoughtful and cheerful heart and an eye toward healing and encouraging a holistic integration of mind, body & spirit. We do this to honor those we serve and endeavor to be reverent in our actions.
Resident focused-orientation
Demonstrating our faith, we shepherd a culture to serve seniors in the delivery of our proprietary community lifestyle services and amenities with a cheerful, thoughtful and caring demeanor. Our orientation builds a program to help seniors remain independent and thrive comfortably in our communities.
INNOVATION
Represents our commitment to our collective future. We believe there are six tenants to innovation:
Leadership
The capacity of our leaders to fulfill their responsibility for making innovation consistently possible without exerting undue influence or control over it.
Technological
Our organization’s use of technology to protect, serve & engage seniors in the delivery of our “product” through innovation, as well as the impact of current and new technologies on the organization, its customers and other stakeholders.
Strategic
Our organization’s comprehensive understanding of the forces driving its operating environment, as well as an appreciation of emerging trends and issues.
Intellectual
Our organization’s mindset and approach to identifying and leveraging ideas and knowledge both internally and externally.
Financial
The organization’s underlying structures for managing both the uncertainty and financial exposure of innovation in order to minimize risk.
